I've made a few mini-goals for myself for over-the-summertime. One of them is this:

By September 1, write a one sentence summary of each book of the Bible. I'm leaving myself the leeway of maybe fudging it out to two sentences, but brevity and clarity is the goal.

I could easily AI this task and be done in 5 seconds. But, then, did I really "write a one sentence summary..."? By actually writing it myself will require me to:

. ask, "Do I even have a clue about this book?"
. analyze the book
. distill it to its essence
. precisely relate my analysis

Sounds like a good exercise for me.
