I just checked my phone's cashu.me wallet and ruh roh! It gone. I think my browser updated or something and it was like I was totally starting over.

I had my seed words, went to "restore from seed" in cashu.me, put in the words, go! It was interesting watching it "think" and then voila! All sats back! The history was empty, but I'm totally ok with that.

Not sure why I was surprised when things worked as expected, I guess becasue they often don't. Pretty awesome.

I blog over on the Hive blockchain and made a little game called "Wusang" (World's Ultra Simple Asset Numbers Game). It's a stupid-simple game with a pirate treasure story. A bot generates a random number, you maybe find a hidden treasure token.
This week I added #cashu #ecash as a "treasure chest" to be found. There are hidden bitcoin sats out there in the wild to be discovered. Find the ecash token, get the sats. Simple.

Evidently the "world's first" ecash-transmitted-by-sound was successful 😃 but the sats were lost into cyberspace due to a crash of some sort 😟 So, I just did a second ecash by sound.

A proof-of-concept to transfer bitcoin sats as ecash via sound using the Cashu protocol.

Ecash can be sent digitally as text data, visually via a QR code reader, physically as a piece of paper with text or a QR printed on it. How about audibly? Can ecash be sent via sound?

There are 21 sats as a cashu/ecash token at https://crrdlx.on.fleek.co/ecashsound/ to the first person to get them. Will this be the "world's first" ecash sent via sound? I don't know. Still, is has a nice ring to it and maybe you can be a small part of ecash/bitcoin history. 😀
